Still Trying To Work With Blogger's New Templates

Maybe it's just me, but these new XML templates that blogger switched over to are driving me absolutely nuts. Today I've been trying to place banners to my shop in three places within my template. I wanted a banner at the top, middle, and bottom of my template. Well I got the one's placed at the top and the bottom, but I just couldn't get the one I wanted in the middle to sit right and I am not extremely happy with how the spacing between the banners and the template pieces came out but I guess I should at least be happy with the fact that I have two banners on this blog to advertise my shop. There is a plus side to these new XML templates that I am finding out and that is the use of widgets. I'm finding it is very easy to add blog elements into blogger blogs now by simply pasting html code into a widget. It is very similar to how you use widgets in wordpress blogs. Oh, and I love how you can move the widgets around if your not happy with the placement of something on your blog. One more thing I have learned is that you can edit your widgets while on your blog page. You don't even have to be inside your control panel to do that and I think that is very cool!
